But there’s a little dab of maple syrup included here to really sweeten up the deal. There’s actually no cinnamon in this French toast - at least, we couldn’t find it listed in the ingredients. The flavor is muted, but there is a little bit of sweetness buried in there somewhere. Even then, it’s a little mushy in the middle - we can’t imagine how this would turn out in the microwave, but we’re going to guess soggy as all get-out. When cooked in the oven, the French toast portion comes out nice and crispy around the edges. It’s hardly what we’d call a hearty breakfast, but it’s not nothing. It’s not that we don’t love French toast it’s that we’re not sure Banquet has the chops to pull this off. That said, we approached the Banquet Brown ‘N Serve French Toast Breakfast with a bit of hesitation.
